175/65 R15 Tyres in the UAE

The numbers are simple to read. 175 is the tyre width in millimetres. 65 is the profile, which means the sidewall height is 65 percent of the width, or about 114 mm. R15 means a radial tyre for a 15 inch wheel. Fully inflated, a 175/65 R15 tyre stands roughly 609 mm tall.

In Dubai this size is mostly seen on small hatchbacks, city saloons and economy cars used for daily commuting. Always check the size printed on your tyre sidewall before you order. For city driving, look for a tyre with good heat resistance and low rolling resistance to keep fuel costs down.

How much a 175/65 R15 tyre costs in the UAE comes down to the brand and the pattern. Premium tyres from Pirelli, Goodyear and Yokohama cost more but usually last longer, while Hankook, Roadstone and Sailun keep the price down. On GulfTyres each 175/65 R15 tyre price includes fitting and wheel balancing at a partner centre.
