235/35 R20 Tyres in the UAE

The numbers are simple to read. 235 is the tyre width in millimetres. 35 is the profile, which means the sidewall height is 35 percent of the width, or about 82 mm. R20 means a radial tyre for a 20 inch wheel. Fully inflated, a 235/35 R20 tyre stands roughly 672 mm tall.

In Dubai this size is mostly seen on sports cars, performance saloons and cars fitted with larger aftermarket alloy wheels. Always check the size printed on your tyre sidewall before you order. Low profile tyres have short sidewalls, so keeping the correct pressure is important to protect your rims from speed bumps and kerbs.

How much a 235/35 R20 tyre costs in the UAE comes down to the brand and the pattern. Premium tyres from Michelin, Bridgestone and Continental cost more but usually last longer, while Nexen, Kumho and Zeetex keep the price down. On GulfTyres each 235/35 R20 tyre price includes fitting and wheel balancing at a partner centre.
