265/50 R22 Tyres in the UAE

The numbers are simple to read. 265 is the tyre width in millimetres. 50 is the profile, which means the sidewall height is 50 percent of the width, or about 132 mm. R22 means a radial tyre for a 22 inch wheel. Fully inflated, a 265/50 R22 tyre stands roughly 823 mm tall.

In Dubai this size is mostly seen on mid size and full size SUVs, crossovers and 4x4s. Always check the size printed on your tyre sidewall before you order. Check the load index as well as the size, and choose between a highway pattern for city use or an all terrain pattern if you drive on sand.
